Ingredients

  • 2 cups - besan
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 pinch - Turmeric powder
  • coriander, chopped
  • salt
  • water

How to Make Tomato Besan Omelette

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with little water to make the batter.
  • The batter should not be watery, but also not thick. It's consistency should be like the ones for dosas.
  • Heat the tawa and put little oil to grease it.
  • Put a spoonful of the mixture on the tawa and spread it like you would for dosas.
  • Let one side cook and then turn it over for the other side to cook.
  • Serve it with sauce or pickle.
