  • Potato - 1 (medium, cut in very small pieces)
  • Tomato - 1 (Large, pureed)
  • Curry leaves - A few
  • Green chillies - 4
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Bread slices - 5-6
  • Oil - 1.5 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of Turmeric
  • few Coriander leaves for garnish.
  • How to Make Tomato Bread:

    1. Take a skillet, heat the oil. Then add the cut potato, cut green chillies and the curry leaves.
    2. Lower the gas and cover the skillet for a couple of minutes to let the potatoes cook.
    3. After the potato is cooked, add the pureed tomatoes and fry it for 5 minutes or till it dries a little bit.
    4. Then add water, salt and turmeric and let it boil.
    5. When it starts boiling, add the whole bread slices one by one, pushing it on side so as all slices get soaked nicely.
    6. Now simmer for 5-7 minus. When ready, serve with chopped corridor on top.
