How to Make Tomato Butter Chicken

  • Clean and wash the chicken and keep aside
  • Heat oil and add garam masala and chicken
  • Stir thoroughly. After a few mins add salt, coriander powder, chilli powder and mix well
  • Once the chicken starts drying, add two glasses of water and mix well
  • Cook until all the water get evaporated and the chicken becomes tender
  • Keep this chicken aside in a bowl
  • For Gravy:
  • Heat oil and add cumin. When it starts to sputter add tomato puree and start stirring
  • Add a little bit of salt and chilli powder
  • Add paprika and stir it nicely
  • After a few minutes add garlic butter and stir
  • Once the garlic butter completely melts, add cream and stir it for few mins
  • Add honey, dried fenugreek leaves and stir continuously
  • After 3 or 4 mins, add the chicken to this gravy and mix it well
  • Simmer for a few mins and add fresh coriander leaves to it
  • Serve with basmati rice
