Ingredients

  • 1 lb - Tomatoes
  • 1 - large Onions
  • 4 oz - Vinegar
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 3 tsp - chilli powder
  • 4 oz = Mustard oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste.
  • How to Make Tomato Chutney in Oil:

    1. Chop onion finely. Chop tomatoes and mix with onions.
    2. Add vinegar, chilli powder, salt, sugar and mix well.
    3. Heat oil in a kadai and fry mustard seeds until they crackle.
    4. Add tomato mixture and cook until tender and the chutney thickens.
    5. Bottle when cool.
