  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 red chillies
  • 1 flake garlic
  • 1/2 tsp - hing
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Tomato chutney (Pickled)

  • Grind tomato, onion, garlic and red chilli to a fine paste.
  • In a kadai, heat oil add mustard seeds and after they splutter, add curry leaves and hing.
  • Add the ground paste, salt and cook till the oil separates.
  • Serve hot with idli or dosa.
