  • 2 cups - Curd
  • 2 - Roma tomatoes
  • Green Chillies (as per taste)
  • Coriander (1 to 2 stems) [optional]
  • Dry Coconut Powder(1 tsp)
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • Vegetable oil
  • Seasoning:
  • Mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, cumin seeds (1 tsp in all)

How to Make Tomato Dahi Chutney

  • Take curd in a cup and add dried coconut. Keep this aside.
  • Cut tomatoes and green chillies.
  • Take 2 tbsp oil in a kadai. When the oil gets warm, add tomatoes and green chillies.
  • Add turmeric.
  • Allow tomatoes to cook under a low fire till they become a paste.
  • Now, add this paste to the curd.
  • Add salt as per taste.
  • Garnish with finely chopped coriander.
  • Heat 2 tsps of oil in the kadai and add the seasoning ingredients mentioned above.
  • When they splutter, add this to the chutney.
