  • 2-3 - Tomato
  • 1/2 cup - Garlic
  • 4-5 - Red Chillies
  • A little - Tamarind
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard
  • 1/2 tsp - Urad Dal
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • How to Make Tomato garlic chutney:

    1. Heat oil in a kadai.
    2. Add garlic, tomato, red chilli and tamarind and fry till it is slightly brown in colour.
    3. Fry till the raw smell of the garlic is gone.
    4. Grind it to a fine paste with water.
    5. Heat the kadai, temper mustard and urad dal.
    6. Then add the ground mixture and salt.
    7. Serve with idli or dosa.
