Ingredients

  • 3 tsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 6 - dried whole Red Chillies
  • 1 tsp - curry powder or rasam powder
  • 4 - tomatoes
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander
  • How to Make Tomato Koot:

    1. Heat oil and add mustard seeds.
    2. When mustard seeds splutter, reduce heat and add dry chillies. Fry till chillies turn brown.
    3. Now add curry or rasam powder and stir.
    4. Add chopped tomatoes. Cook till they turn soft.
    5. Cook for 10 mins more and take off heat.
    6. Add lemon juice and garnish with chopped coriander.
    7. Serve hot with rotis or rice.
