Ingredients

  • 1/2 - Tomatoes
  • 2- 3 - Green chillies
  • 2 -onions
  • 3 tbsp - roasted gram (pottukadalai)
  • 3 tbsp - fresh Coconut
  • 1 tsp - fennel
  • 1 small piece- Ginger
  • 3- 4 flakes- Garlic
  • How to Make Tomato Kurma For Idli:

    1. Boil tomatoes with green chillies and mash.
    2. Keep oil on a tawa and fry chopped onions till golden brown.
    3. Grind together all the rest of the ingredients and add with the onions to the boiling tomato gravy.
    4. Side dish for idli is ready.
