Ingredients

  • 3 tsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tsp - urad dhal
  • 4 - dry red chillies
  • Salt
  • 2 - green chillies
  • 3 - tomatoes
  • 2 tbsps - mint leaves

How to Make Tomato Mint Chutney

  • Heat oil and add mustard seeds.
  • After they splutter, add urad dal and dry chillies. Fry and keep aside.
  • To the remaining oil in the pan, add chopped tomatoes, mint and green chillies.
  • Cover and cook till tomatoes are stewed.
  • Cool for a while and grind with the fried spices.
  • Serve with dosas or idlis.
