Ingredients

  • 2 - ripe tomatoes (hybrid)
  • 1 cup - thick fresh curds
  • 2 - green chillies chopped
  • 1 - red chilli
  • 1 tsp- oil
  • 1/4 tsp - mustards
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin
  • 4 - curry leaves
  • 1 tsp -coriander leaves chopped

How to Make Tomato Perugu Pachhdi

  • Beat the curd.
  • Chop tomatoes and cook them in medium flame till they become soft. Cool and mix with curd. Add salt to this and mix well.
  • Now heat oil in a pan and add mustards. When they splutter, add cumin, green chillies, red chilli and curry leaves. Pour this over the pachhdi and mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice, idli or dosa.
