Ingredients

  • 3 - Potato
  • 1 - large Tomato
  • 1 tsp - Poppy Seeds
  • 2 - Green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 3 tsp - Mustard oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Kalonji
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • How to Make Tomato posto:

    1. Grind poppy seeds with green chillies.
    2. Heat oil, add kalonji and tomato. Saute for a while, add potato and fry for 2 minutes.
    3. Add the ground paste, turmeric powder, salt and stir for 2 minutes.
    4. Add water, cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 10 - 15 minutes.
