Ingredients

  • 4 - medium sized Tomatoes sliced thinly
  • Salt to taste
  • 100 g - table Butter
  • 20 slices bread
  • Pepper to taste

How to Make Tomato Tea Sandwiches

  • Lightly salt the tomato slices and place them in a colander to drain for about an hour.
  • Apply the butter to one side of each slice of bread.
  • Arrange the tomato slices on 10 of the bread slices.
  • Sprinkle pepper powder on the cucumber slices.
  • Top with the other 10 slices.
  • Remove the crusts, and cut into quarters.
  • Serve immediately.
