  • 1 cup - Wheat rava
  • 1 cup - Brown rice
  • 1/2 cup - Rolled oats
  • 2 - Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp - Ginger (grated)
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • Salt
  • Oil for cooking

How to Make Tomato, Wheat Rava and Brown Rice Adai

  • Soak the wheat rava and brown rice together for three hours with enough water.
  • Grind the soaked wheat rava, brown rice, tomatoes, grated ginger, chopped chillies with enough water until they become a coarse thick paste.
  • Add salt and take the batter in a vessel.
  • Now add the rolled oats directly to the batter and keep aside for 2-3 hours.
  • Heat a tawa or a griddle, grease it with few drops of oil and pour a ladle of this adai batter.
  • Spread it as a medium size adai, drizzle the oil, cover it with a lid and cook on a medium flame.
  • Once the top of the adai gets cooked, turn the adai and cook well.
  • Serve hot with any spicy chutney.
