How to Make Traditional Donuts
Stir milk, yeast and 1 tsp of sugar and let batter rise for 5 mins.
Put the flour, sugar and salt into a mixing bowl and add the yeast mix, eggs and oil.
Stir all of it thoroughly. Cover the batter and let it rise for 30 mins.
The donut moulds may be greased with cooking oil.
Stir all ingredients thoroughly until the batter is smooth.
Preheat the donut making appliance for 5 mins.
Fill in one level tbsp of batter per donut mould and close appliance.
Baking time will be 30 mins or until the desired degree of brownness has been achieved.
Take finished donuts from the mould and use up remaining batter in the same way.
