Ingredients

  • 1 cup- Paneer cubes
  • 1 cup- Gram flour
  • 1 tbsp- Rice flour
  • 1 tsp- Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • Handful of fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - soda bicarbonate
  • A pinch- Asafoetida
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying.
  • How to Make Traditional Paneer pakora:

    1. Heat oil in a deep kadai.
    2. Meanwhile, mix all the ingredients required for the batter with sufficient water in a bowl.
    3. Dip paneer into the batter and gently drop in the hot oil.
    4. Fry until they turn golden brown.
    5. Drain on a kitchen towel.
    6. Serve with tomato ketchup.
