  • 1 cup- Paneer cubes
  • 1 cup- Gram flour
  • 1 tbsp- Rice flour
  • 1 tsp- Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • Handful of fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - soda bicarbonate
  • A pinch- asafoetida
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying.

How to Make Traditional Paneer pakora

  • Heat oil in a deep kadai.
  • Meanwhile, mix all the ingredients required for the batter with sufficient water in a bowl.
  • Dip paneer into the batter and gently drop in the hot oil.
  • Fry until they turn golden brown.
  • Drain on a kitchen towel.
  • Serve with tomato ketchup.
