Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - tomato
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • 2-3 - green chillies
  • 2-3 tsp - white til
  • 2-3 tsp - dry coconut
  • salt to taste
  • 2-3 tsp - red chilli powder

How to Make Traditional Tomato curry

  • In a pan heat oil, put tomato pieces, salt, green chillies (slit) and close the pan.
  • Let it cook until it becomes soft and all the juice of the tomato pieces come out.
  • Dry roast white til, dry coconut in another pan and grind to a powder.
  • After the tomato gets cooked, add the above powder and mix well.
  • Add red chilli powder and some more oil (2-3 spoons).
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
