Ingredients

  • 4 - big Tomatoes
  • Salt
  • 4 cups - water
  • 4 - Almonds
  • 4 - Cashewnuts
  • 2 - candlenuts
  • Ginger - a small piece
  • Garlic - 2 pieces
  • 4 - small Onions
  • For Frying:
  • Cinnamon stick 1 small piece
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cardamoms - 2
  • Star anise - 1
  • Garnishing:
  • Onion leaves - a few.
  • How to Make Traditional Tomato Soup:

    1. Heat a wok, add oil and fry cinnamon stick clove, cardamom, star anise.
    2. Add tomatoes and stir well.
    3. Grind almonds, cashewnuts, candle nuts, ginger, garlic and small onions into a paste.
    4. After the tomatoes become soft, add the ground ingredients, mixed with water. Add salt and cover to simmer.
    5. Once it starts to boil use a spoon to mash the tomatoes.
    6. Garnish with onions.
