  • 4 slices - bread
  • 4 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 cups - mix vegetables (carrot, cabbage, boiled pea, mushroom, broccoli), chopped finely
  • 1 - big potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp - Corn flour
  • salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

  • How to Make Traditional Vegetable Gold Coins:

    1. Heat oil in a pan, add the onion and saute for a minute.
    2. Add the vegetables and mix well.
    3. When the vegetables are almost cooked, add the mashed potato and mix well.
    4. Add garam masala, red chilli powder and salt.
    5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    6. Cut a bread slice into round shape with a katori. Put some potato mixture on the slice.
    7. Add water to 1 tbsp of corn flour and make a thick paste.
    8. Spread on the bread slice, add some til and fry.
    9. Serve with sauce.
