Ingredients

  • 3 cups - mixed boiled vegetables (French beans, green peas, Potatoes and carrots)
  • 2 - Onions
  • 3 - Spring onions
  • 2 - Tomatoes
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 1 - small piece of Ginger
  • 1 tbsp - coriander
  • 1/2 cup - Tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • 3 tbsps - Ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Traditional Vegetable Jhalfrazie:

    1. Chop the onions, spring onions, tomatoes, green chillies, ginger and coriander.
    2. Heat ghee in a vessel and fry onions till golden.
    3. Add all the chopped items and fry for 2 mins.
    4. Add the tomato ketchup, boiled vegetables, spring onions, chilli powder, sugar, salt and a little water.
    5. Cook for 5-10 mins.
    6. Serve hot.
