Ingredients

  • 3 cups - mixed boiled vegetables (French beans, green peas, potatoes and carrots)
  • 2 - onions
  • 3 - spring onions
  • 2 - tomatoes
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1 - small piece of ginger
  • 1 tbsp - coriander
  • 1/2 cup - tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - sugar
  • 3 tbsps - ghee
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Traditional Vegetable Jhalfrazie

  • Chop the onions, spring onions, tomatoes, green chillies, ginger and coriander.
  • Heat ghee in a vessel and fry onions till golden.
  • Add all the chopped items and fry for 2 mins.
  • Add the tomato ketchup, boiled vegetables, spring onions, chilli powder, sugar, salt and a little water.
  • Cook for 5-10 mins.
  • Serve hot.
