Ingredients

  • 4 cups - raw rice
  • 1 cup - urad dal
  • 1 tsp - fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • oil as required

How to Make Tri colour Dosa

  • Clean and soak rice and dal separately for 5 hours.
  • Separately grind rice and dal using required quantity of water.
  • Mix rice, dal and salt to form a thick batter.
  • Keep this mixture overnight for fermentation.
  • In the morning, stir this mixture well.
  • Pour one ladleful of batter on a heated non-stick tawa.
  • Cook till one side turns a light brown.
  • Flip on the other side and cook for some seconds.
  • Serve hot with tomato and coconut chutney to make tri-colour dosa.
