Ingredients

  • 1 - pound cake (to make crumbs)
  • 50 ml - Orange juice
  • 3 tbsp - whipped heavy Cream
  • 500 ml - Milk
  • 2.5 tbsp - custard powder
  • 65 gms - castor Sugar
  • 350 gms - mixed fruits drained from syrup
  • How to Make Trifle Fruit Pudding:

    1. Dissolve custard powder in 2 tbsp milk.
    2. Boil the remaining milk with sugar.
    3. Add the custard mixture to the boiling milk and stir it till it thickens.
    4. Allow the custard to cool down at room temperature.
    5. To assemble:
    6. In a serving dish, pour half the custard at the base of the bowl and spread it evenly.
    7. On top of it put crumbs of cake and pour the orange juice, so that the cake crumbs soak in the juice completely.
    8. Put the remaining half of custard on top of it along with the whipped cream.
    9. Decorate with fruits.
    10. Serve chilled.
