  • 500 gms - khubani (dried apricots)
  • 500 gms - Sugar
  • Vanilla pond cake - 1
  • Whipped Cream - 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp

How to Make Trifle Khubani (Apricots)

  • Wash and soak khubani over night. Boil the soaked khubani till it becomes soft and water evaporates.
  • Add the sugar and cook on low flame till sugar completely melts.
  • Remove from the gas, add 1 tsp lemon juice to it and keep aside.
  • Cut the cake into slices and arrange it in the serving dish (preferably rectangular glass dish) then pour in the cooked khubani evenly on top of it.
  • Leave it to cool down then transfer it to the refrigerator.
  • Spread the whipped cream evenly on the khoobani sweet and serve chilled.
