  • 500 gms - khubani (dried apricots)
  • 500 gms - Sugar
  • Vanilla pond cake - 1
  • Whipped Cream - 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • How to Make Trifle Khubani (Apricots):

    1. Wash and soak khubani over night. Boil the soaked khubani till it becomes soft and water evaporates.
    2. Add the sugar and cook on low flame till sugar completely melts.
    3. Remove from the gas, add 1 tsp lemon juice to it and keep aside.
    4. Cut the cake into slices and arrange it in the serving dish (preferably rectangular glass dish) then pour in the cooked khubani evenly on top of it.
    5. Leave it to cool down then transfer it to the refrigerator.
    6. Spread the whipped cream evenly on the khoobani sweet and serve chilled.
