  • 1 cup - Besan flour
  • 1 cup - Rice flour
  • 1/2 cup - Soya flour
  • 2 tbsp - Butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup - Sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seeds
  • 5 - Garlic pods
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • How to Make Triple Flours Murukku:

    1. Grind both fennel seeds and garlic pods together into fine paste.
    2. Add a cup of water to this fine paste and strain the water.
    3. We are going to use this water for the dough.
    4. Take a large bowl and sieve the three flours together.
    5. Add red chilli powder, sesame seeds and melted butter with the fennel - garlic water.
    6. Knead everything together into a soft dough.
    7. Heat oil for deep frying on a medium high flame.
    8. Take a muruku press and squeeze out over the hot oil and fry both sides until they turn brown.
    9. Drain the excess of oil on a paper towel.
    10. Store them in air-tight container.
