  • 1 - Potato (cooked)
  • 1/4 cup - rolled oats
  • 1 tin - Tuna fish
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Cumin powder
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 1/4 cup - Bread crumbs
  • How to Make Tuna Oats Cutlet:

    1. Saute the chopped onions and chopped green chillies with oil until the onions turns translucent.
    2. Meanwhile drain the water from the canned fish and squeeze out the water completely.
    3. Meanwhile mash the cooked potato and rolled oats together.
    4. Now add the tuna fish to the prepared potato-oats mixture.
    5. Now add the sauteed onions, garam masala powder, cumin powder, salt and mix everything well.
    6. Make medium sized balls and flatten them as medium patties.
    7. Prepare a batter with corn flour and water, drop the prepared patties one by one in to the prepared batter and roll them evenly over the breadcrumbs.
    8. Keep aside and finish with the remaining patties.
    9. Heat enough oil in a pan and fry the prepared cutlets in small batches until the crust turns golden brown.
    10. Drain the excess oil with a paper towel.
    11. Serve warm with ketchup.
