Ingredients

  • For Crust:
  • 1 tsp - Active Dry Or Instant Yeast
  • 4 cups - All-purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp - Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 cup - Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • For Filling:
  • 1 can - Tuna fish
  • 1 - Yellow bell pepper (chopped)
  • 5 - Button Mushrooms (chopped)
  • A Few black Olives (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - Grated cheese
  • 1/4 tsp - Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 cup - Pizza Sauce
  • How to Make Tuna Pizza:

    1. Sprinkle yeast over 1. 5 cups warm (not lukewarm) water.
    2. Combine flour and salt in a bowl, drizzle in olive oil until combined with flour.
    3. Next, pour in yeast/water mixture and mix until just combined.
    4. Coat a separate mixing bowl with a light drizzle of olive oil and form the dough into a ball.
    5. Toss to coat dough in olive oil, then cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and store in the fridge until you need it.
    6. It's best to make the dough at least 24 hours in advance, and 3 or 4 days is even better.
    7. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees C.
    8. Roll the pizza base as rectangular or circle shaped discs.
    9. Spread the pizza sauce as per need, sprinkle the tuna fish as per need, followed by bell pepper, mushrooms, black olives and grated cheese.
    10. Sprinkle oregano and bake for 15-20 minutes in the middle rack until cheese melts.
