Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - turkey breast
  • 2 cups - broccoli florets
  • 1 - capsicum, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tbsp - corn-starch
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 3 tbsp - sesame oil
  • 2 sprigs - spring onion, chopped fine
  • 1/2 - onion, chopped fine
  • 1/4 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - grated ginger paste
  • 3 tbsp - soy sauce
  • 2 cups - chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/8 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Turkey Fry

  • Cut the turkey into thin strips.
  • Heat 1 tbsp butter in a skillet and add turkey pieces.
  • Simmer till pieces are pink and tender.
  • Remove and keep aside.
  • In a pan, add 1 cup water and broccoli florets.
  • Boil and let it cook for 5 mins.
  • Drain and keep aside.
  • Add remaining 1 tbsp butter in a skillet.
  • Heat and add onion, capsicum, ginger and garlic.
  • Simmer for a minute.
  • Add turkey strips and 1 cup chicken broth.
  • Cook for 5 mins.
  • In a separate pan, mix 1 cup chicken stock, pepper, salt, chilli powder and soy sauce for the sauce.
  • Dissolve corn-starch in 1 tbsp water.
  • Add to the sauce.
  • Cook the sauce till it thickens.
  • Add broccoli.
  • Cook for 2 mins.
  • Pour the sauce over the turkey.
  • Serve hot with rice.
