  • 30 gms - Butter
  • 4 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 15 gms - Crystal Sugar for making icing
  • 2 - Egg whites
  • 5 gms - Food colour for the icing
  • 1 tbsp - Lime juice
  • 450 gms - Sugar
  • 1 tsp - Vanilla essence
  • 2 cups - Water
  • How to Make Turkish Delight:

    1. Mix water and sugar in a bowl and boil it until it forms a sticky syrup.
    2. Now mix the corn flour in a little water and add the mixture to the syrup, and stir.
    3. Add the lime juice and vanilla essence to it.
    4. Then pour the syrup in a greased plate, lined with butter paper.
    5. Then let it cool and cut into squares.
    6. For the Icing:
    7. Beat the whites of 2 eggs, with 4 spoons of icing sugar, until it forms a hard icing.
    8. Mix the food color to the icing.
    9. Now dip the corn flour syrup pieces into the icing and sprinkle some crystal sugar on it.
