How to Make

  • Wash and soak basmati rice in water for nearly one hour.
  • Boil water and add a pinch of salt in it.
  • Cook rice uncovered, till they are 95 per cent done.
  • Drain excess water and keep it aside.
  • Heat ghee, add cumin seeds. Once they stop crackling, add turmeric powder and immediately add cooked rice.
  • Mix everything well by giving a gentle toss.
  • Cook it for a minute and serve hot.
