How to Make Tuvar Paalak

  • Wash dal and boil it with chopped palak, salt, chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. When done, mash it little.
  • Take a pan and heat oil. Add cumin seeds. When they crackle, add garlic.
  • Next add onions, tomatoes, red chillies and a pinch of asafoetida.
  • When these are cooked, add the dal mixture and mix well.
  • It can be eaten with roti or rice.
