Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Urad Dal
  • 1 tbsp - Rice flour
  • 2 sprigs - Curry leaves
  • 5 - Green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to deep fry
  • How to Make Udin Vada:

    1. Soak dal overnight.
    2. Grind the dal with a little water.
    3. Transfer the dough to a container and add salt.
    4. Sprinkle rice flour to absorb the water.
    5. Add chopped green chillies and curry leaves. Mix well.
    6. Heat oil in a kadai. Take a scoop of the dough, flatten, make a hole in the centre and slip into the heated oil.
    7. Fry both sides till brown.
    8. Serve hot.
