How to Make Udin Vada

  • Soak dal overnight.
  • Grind the dal with a little water.
  • Transfer the dough to a container and add salt.
  • Sprinkle rice flour to absorb the water.
  • Add chopped green chillies and curry leaves. Mix well.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Take a scoop of the dough, flatten, make a hole in the centre and slip into the heated oil.
  • Fry both sides till brown.
  • Serve hot.
