Ingredients

  • 450 g - Cake Flour
  • 300 g - plain flour
  • 2 cups - Sugar
  • 2 tbsp - baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 200 g - unsalted Butter (cubed)
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 cup - whole Milk
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • For the frosting:
  • Whipping Cream
  • powdered Sugar
  • Pink colour

How to Make Vanilla cup cakes

  • Preheat the oven and line cupcake pans with paper liner.
  • Mix flours, sugar, baking powder, salt and mix on low speed until combined.
  • Add butter, mixing until just coated with flour.
  • In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla essence.
  • On medium speed, add the wet ingredients in 3 batches, beat until incorporated, but do not beat too much.
  • Pour the batter in greased cups filling only about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 18-20 mins.
  • For the frosting:
  • Mix all the ingredients together and once the cake is cooled, spread the frosting on top of it.
