Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - grated Carrot (4 small Carrots )
  • 1/2 cup- cauliflower, grated
  • 1/2 cup - finely chopped French beans
  • 3 - 4 tbsp - bread crumbs
  • 1tbsp - Corn flour
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper powder
  • Oil for Deep Frying ( 150 ml - oil )
  • For Garlic sauce
  • 2 tsp- Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp -finely chopped small Green chilli
  • 2 tsp - Vinegar
  • 2 tsp- soy sauce,
  • 2 tsp -oyster sauce,
  • 1/2 cup- finely chopped Spring onions whites
  • 2 tsp- sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp- pepper, crushed
  • 1 tsp- Corn flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsps- schezuan sauce
  • 2 tsp -sugar
  • 1/4 cup- water
  • How to Make Veg Balls in Garlic Sauce:

    1. For veg balls:
    2. Heat oil in wok and stir fry the vegetables for 2 -3 minutes.
    3. Turn off the gas and keep it aside to cool.
    4. To the stir fried vegetables add salt, soy sauce, pepper powder, bread crumbs, corn flour and mix well. Do not add water
    5. Make small sized balls and Deep Fried in oil till they turn golden brown.
    6. Drain them in paper tissue and keep them aside.
    7. Final preparation:
    8. Heat oil in wok and add all ingredients for the garlic sauce.
    9. Keep stirring the sauce till it thickens.
    10. Usually it takes 5-7 minutes.
    11. Dip veg balls into the hot garlic sauce just before serving (or pour hot garlic sauce over veg balls).
    12. Garnish with finely chopped spring onion greens. Serve hot with noodles or fried rice.
