Ingredients

  • Soya granules - 250 g
  • Fresh peas - 1 cup
  • Coconut - 6 tbsp
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch
  • Garlic - 8 cloves
  • Coriander leaves, a few strands
  • Dhania powder - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
  • Cloves - 4
  • Onion - 2
  • Tomato - 1
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 4 tbsp

How to Make Veg Kaima Curry

  • First, boil the water in a bowl. Then, add the soya granules in them and allow them to stay for 15 minutes.
  • Then, squeeze out the water from the soya granules.
  • Grind coconut, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, chilli powder, dhania powder, onion and tomato to a smooth paste.
  • In a borosil bowl, add oil and heat on high for 2 minutes.
  • Add the ground masala and fry for sometime in oil on high for 1 minute. Then add the peas and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Now, add the squeezed soya granules and salt to it. Add a little water and allow to cook.
  • Cook till the peas are tender. Ensure the gravy is not too watery.
  • Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with puri or roti .
