Ingredients

  • For vegetable balls:
  • 1 cup - Maida + Corn flour
  • 3 or 4 - Cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 inch - Ginger, chopped
  • 100 g - Cabbage, grated
  • 2 - Carrots, grated
  • 1 - Capsicum chopped
  • A pinch of soda bicarbonate
  • 1/2 tsp - Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Ajinomoto
  • 1 tsp - Soya sauce
  • For the sauce: 6 to 7 - Cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 inch - Ginger, grated
  • 3-4 green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - Soya sauce
  • 1tsp - Ajinomoto
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • 1 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 2 tbsp oil

How to Make Veg Manchurian

  • Make a tough dough with all the ingredients listed for Manchurian balls.
  • Shape into balls and deep fry in oil.
  • Then heat some oil, fry ginger, garlic, and green chillies for 1 min.
  • Add 1.5 cups of water, ajinomoto, soya sauce and salt.
  • Cook the water for 3 mins. Add balls and corn flour paste. Cook till done.
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve immediately.
