  • Dough: 150 gm - whole meal flour
  • 150 gm - strong white flour
  • 3 tbsp - Butter
  • 120 ml - warm Milk
  • 1.5 tsp - fast action Dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp - Sugar
  • vegetable stuffing: 1 tbsp - Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1.5 cup - mixed vegetables like cauliflower, potatoes, carrot, peas
  • 1 tsp - cumin
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Veg Parcel Bread:

    1. Mix all the dough ingredients together to form a smooth dough, allow it to rise in a warm place to double its size (approximately 1 to 2 hours).
    2. Meanwhile prepare the stuffing for the bread.
    3. Heat the oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, chopped onions and fry it for a while, then add vegetables, spices and salt.
    4. Cover the pan and cook until the vegetables are done.
    5. To make the parcel bread: Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
    6. Take the raised dough, punch the air out.
    7. Roll the dough into a square shape, place the filling in the middle, pull all the edges in the middle to make it like a parcel, brush it with an egg wash and sprinkle it with poppy seeds and sesame seeds.
    8. Cover it and allow it to rise for another 1/2 an hour.
    9. Bake it in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the bread becomes golden brown on top.
