Ingredients

  • 1 - dark chocolate bar 250 g
  • 3 tbsp - Peanut Butter
  • 5 tbsp - vegetable
  • 3 tbsp - Apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup - Raisins
  • 2 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - baking soda
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar

How to Make Vegan Peanut butter Chocolate Raisin Cookies

  • Cut the dark chocolate bar into small pieces, take a cup of chocolate pieces in a microwave bowl and keep aside the remaining chocolate pieces, add the peanut butter, vegetable shortening to the bowl
  • Heat them for 2 mins and mix them well with a spatula
  • Add the sugar and apple sauce to them and beat them well until the sugar get dissolved.
  • Add the baking powder and baking soda to the flour
  • Once the chocolate mix turns soft, add the flour gradually and turn them into a soft dough.
  • Mix the raisins and remaining chocolate pieces to the dough
  • Preheat the oven at 350 degree F
  • Line a baking tray, drop a scoop of the dough over the baking paper, leave some space between the cookies
  • Bake them for 25 mins, as these cookies are made with chocolate, they will be soft when taken from the oven, let cool for few mins
