Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp - Rice bran or soya oil
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Onion
  • 4 - slit Green chillies
  • Chopped Ginger pieces
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup - carrot, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup - beans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup - tomato, chopped
  • 1 cup - whole Wheat or Corn Rawa
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 2 - Cloves
  • 2 - Cinnamon
  • Salt, to taste
  • How to Make Vegetable Bhath:

    1. Heat oil. Season with mustard, cloves, cinnamon, green chillies and curry leaves.
    2. Add onion and fry till soft (not coloured).
    3. Add 3 cup of water, turmeric, salt, ginger, carrot, beans and tomato.
    4. When the water boils, reduced the flame and simmer for 5 mins.
    5. Add rawa. Cover and cook for 8-10 mins.
    6. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
