Ingredients

  • Beetroot - 1
  • Carrot - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Green chillies - 1
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Moong dal - 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • Water - 4 cups
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Cilantro, chopped - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Vegetable Dal Curry

  • Chop carrot and beetroot into small pieces.
  • Heat a pressure cooker and pour oil into it.
  • Fry onion, tomato, green chillies, chopped beetroot and carrot.
  • Add moong dal, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt and water.
  • Cover and cook for 4 whistles.
  • Garnish with cilantro leaves.
