Ingredients

  • Beetroot - 1
  • Carrot - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Green chillies - 1
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Moong dal - 1/2 cup
  • Red Chilli powder - 2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • Water - 4 cups
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Cilantro, chopped - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Vegetable Dal Curry:

    1. Chop carrot and beetroot into small pieces.
    2. Heat a pressure cooker and pour oil into it.
    3. Fry onion, tomato, green chillies, chopped beetroot and carrot.
    4. Add moong dal, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt and water.
    5. Cover and cook for 4 whistles.
    6. Garnish with cilantro leaves.
