Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 potato, boiled and chopped
  • 1 capsicum, chopped
  • 1 carrot, boiled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp - peas, boiled
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1/4 tsp- Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp- coriander chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp- Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - Dhania powder
  • 1/4 tsp- Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - tandoori powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • Grind together:
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/2" piece Ginger
  • 2 Red Chillies
  • 3-4 Garlic flakes
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • How to Make Vegetable Foogath:

    1. Heat oil, add cumin seeds, allow to splutter.
    2. Add chopped onion, saute till tender.
    3. Add paste
    4. Add red chilli powder, dhania powder turmeric powder and tandoori masala
    5. Stir-fry till oil separates.
    6. Add salt, garam masala, and 1/2 cup water.
    7. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
    8. Add all vegetables. Mix well.
    9. Cook till masala thicken enough to coat vegetables.
    10. Add lemon juice; mix, take off fire.
    11. Garnish with chopped coriander, serve hot.
