Ingredients

  • 1 cup - finely sliced onion
  • 1 cup - finely sliced capsicum
  • 1 cup - finely sliced cabbage
  • 1 cup - finely sliced carrot
  • 1 packet - noodles
  • 1 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - tomato sauce
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry

How to Make Vegetable Fried Noodles

  • Boil and cook the noodles.
  • To the cooked noodles, add cold water and filter it.
  • Add 1 tsp of oil to the noodles and mix well so that the noodles do not stick to each other.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai and saute the onions.
  • Add capsicum, carrot and cabbage.
  • Add the ginger paste, chilli powder, tomato sauce, asafoetida and salt.
  • Add 1 cup of water and cook for 5-10 mins.
  • Heat 2 cups of oil in a kadai.
  • Deep-fry the boiled noodles.
  • Break the deep-fried noodles and add it to the vegetable mixture.
  • Serve hot.
