Ingredients

  • 1 - Onion, chopped
  • 1 - Tomato, chopped
  • 1 - Potato, boiled and chopped
  • 1 - Capsicum, chopped
  • 1 - Carrot, boiled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp - Peas, boiled
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • 1/4 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - Dhania powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Tandoori powder
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • Grind together:
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1/2 inch piece - Ginger
  • 2 - Red Chillies
  • 3-4 - Garlic flakes
  • 1 - Tomato
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • How to Make Vegetable Kholapuri:

    1. Grind together all the ingredients for the paste and keep aside.
    2. Heat oil, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
    3. Add chopped onion, saute till tender. Then add the paste.
    4. Next, add in the red chilli powder, dhania powder, turmeric powder and tandoori masala.
    5. Stir-fry till the oil separates.
    6. Add salt, garam masala, and 1/2 cup water. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
    7. Add all the vegetables. Mix well.
    8. Cook till masala thickens enough to coat vegetables.
    9. Add lemon juice, mix well and take off the fire.
    10. Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve hot.
