Ingredients

  • 1 - Onion, chopped
  • 1 - Tomato, chopped
  • 1 - Potato, boiled and chopped
  • 1 - Capsicum, chopped
  • 1 - Carrot, boiled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp - Peas, boiled
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • 1/4 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - Dhania powder
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Tandoori powder
  • 1 tsp - Red chilli powder
  • Grind together:
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1/2 inch piece - Ginger
  • 2 - Red chillies
  • 3-4 - Garlic flakes
  • 1 - Tomato
  • 1 tsp - Sugar

How to Make Vegetable Kholapuri

  • Grind together all the ingredients for the paste and keep aside.
  • Heat oil, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add chopped onion, saute till tender. Then add the paste.
  • Next, add in the red chilli powder, dhania powder, turmeric powder and tandoori masala.
  • Stir-fry till the oil separates.
  • Add salt, garam masala, and 1/2 cup water. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add all the vegetables. Mix well.
  • Cook till masala thickens enough to coat vegetables.
  • Add lemon juice, mix well and take off the fire.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve hot.
