Ingredients

  • 4 - bread slices
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1 - carrot, chopped finely
  • 1 - capsicum, chopped finely
  • 1/2 - tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp - Tomato sauce
  • Ghee to toast
  • 1 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped finely
  • 2 tsp - oil

How to Make Vegetable Masala Sandwich

  • Heat oil in a kadai, add onions and green chillies. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes, carrot and capsicum, saute till raw smell goes.
  • Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and saute for 3-4 mins.
  • Add a tbsp of tomato ketchup, give a quick stir.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • For sandwich:
  • Toast the bread slices until lightly crispy with a tsp of ghee.
  • Apply tomato sauce on one side, then spoon on the vegetable stuffing and spread it over the sauce.
  • Your open sandwich is ready .
