Ingredients

  • 4 - bread slices
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1 - carrot, chopped finely
  • 1 - capsicum, chopped finely
  • 1/2 - tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp - Tomato sauce
  • Ghee to toast
  • 1 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped finely
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • How to Make Vegetable Masala Sandwich:

    1. Heat oil in a kadai, add onions and green chillies. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
    2. Add tomatoes, carrot and capsicum, saute till raw smell goes.
    3. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and saute for 3-4 mins.
    4. Add a tbsp of tomato ketchup, give a quick stir.
    5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    6. For sandwich:
    7. Toast the bread slices until lightly crispy with a tsp of ghee.
    8. Apply tomato sauce on one side, then spoon on the vegetable stuffing and spread it over the sauce.
    9. Your open sandwich is ready .
