Ingredients

  • 750 g - Potatoes
  • 2 -onion
  • 1/2 - Lime
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - Carrot
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
  • 100 g - fresh beans
  • 100 g - Green peas
  • 1/4 cup - Mushrooms
  • 4-5 - Green chillies
  • Coriander leaves -2 sprigs
  • 3 tbsp - green chutney.
  • How to Make Vegetable Pie:

    1. Boil the peeled potatoes and mash them after adding salt. Dice and boil rest of the vegetables.
    2. Fry the onion in 2 tbsp oil till golden brown.
    3. Put the boiled vegetables, mushrooms and cook for a while.
    4. Season with finely chopped green chillies, lemon, sugar, salt and coriander leaves.
    5. Grind the ingredients for the chutney.
    6. Divide potato into 3 parts, the chutney and vegetables into 2 parts.
    7. Grease a pie dish. Make a layer of mashed potato, chutney. Repeat and finish the layers with potato.
    8. Sprinkle bread crumbs over it and dot with butter.
    9. Bake in a moderate oven for 30-40 mins or till done or brown in colour.
    10. Serve hot.
