Ingredients

  • 1 - Carrot
  • 1 - Tomato
  • 1 - Potato
  • 50g - beans
  • 50g - Cabbage
  • 1 - Onion
  • Tamarind - Lemon sized
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • Jaggery - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch - Asafoetida
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Coriander leaves - 3 sprigs
  • How to Make Vegetable Rasam:

    1. Cook carrot, tomato, potato, cabbage, beans and onion and grind them into a smooth paste. Add the tamarind paste, jaggery, chilly powder, asafoetida and salt to it and let it boil for a while.
    2. Garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves. Serve
