How to Make Veggie Rice - Pasta For Kids

  • Wash and soak rice and pasta for around 10 mins in a bowl.
  • Wash and chop all the vegetables into small pieces.
  • Heat ghee or oil in a pressure cooker and add jeera.
  • When jeera starts to pop, add the chopped tomato.
  • Cook for 2 mins and add all the other chopped vegetables to it.
  • Cook for 1-2 mins.
  • Drain the water from the rice and pasta mix.
  • Now add rice and pasta to the vegetables. Add 2.5 cups water.
  • Add salt, pepper, garam masala and dhania (coriander) powder.
  • Pressure cook till two whistles.
  • Serve hot with curd or ketchup.
