  • 1 large onion
  • 4-5 green chillies
  • tamarind
  • cumin and salt

How to Make Vengaya Pachadi

  • Cut onion in to 4-6 pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add cumin, onion pieces, tamarind, salt and little water.
  • Cover with lid and cook on slow heat.
  • Cook till it becomes soft or till brown.
  • Cool and grind it.
  • It tastes very nice with rice, dosas and idlis.
