  • 10 - shallots, sliced
  • 1 - onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp - Onion
  • 3 - dry Red Chillies
  • 1 - tamarind, small Lemon size
  • Flax seed oil for serving
  • A few - Curry leaves
  • Oil for cooking
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Vengaya Vadagam Chutney:

    1. Heat the oil and fry the onions until they turn brown.
    2. Add the dry red chillies and fry for a few mins
    3. Finally add the tamarind, curry leaves and turn off the stove.
    4. Once it cools, grind it to coarse paste with salt and water.
    5. While serving add the flax seed oil, give a mix and serve.
