  • 12-14 - Lime leaves
  • 7-8 - Red Chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Omam / Ajwain
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp - Asafoetida
  • Few drops (Optional) Lime juice.
  • How to Make Veppalaikatti:

    1. Wash and pat dry the lime leaves.
    2. Now remove all the leaves and take out the middle stems.
    3. Grind them in a mixer along with the red chilli, omam, asafoetida and salt into a paste.
    4. Store in the refrigerator.
