Ingredients

  • One loaf of bread - 2 day old
  • Ghee or Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • How to Make Versatile Bread:

    1. Cut the loaf of bread into 5 long strips. Dry it in the sun or in an oven. (This is to stop it from absorbing too much ghee)
    2. Add the slices to a kadai and cook on low fire.
    3. Pour the ghee on the slices, while stirring, so it gets smeared.
    4. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Mix for another 5 minutes. Remove.
    5. Keep covered and let it cool.
    6. Store in a tin when it is cool.
